        If you love going to the opera, you'll want to head to the theater to see the highly acclaimed operatic masterpiece by Jules Massenet, Werther. The opera was completed in 1887 and is based on the novel, The Sorrows of Young Werther by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. It premiered several years later at the Imperial Theatre Hofoper in Vienna in 1892.
