        West Eastern Divan Orchestra is a Spanish youth orchestra based out of Seville that was founded in 1999 by Edward Said and Daniel Barenboim. The ensemble is made up of children from a variety of Middle Eastern countries including Egypt, Iran, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria and Spain. The group not only offers great music, but hope that people from such different backgrounds can get along peacefully.
