About Which Ones Pink?
Which Ones Pink? is made up of an interest medley of
some of the most interesting and exciting musicians that have been born from the psychedelic rock music scene in the last
four decades. At the helm of the performers is Paul Samarin, renowned musician whose devotion to Pink Floyd places him on
lead guitar, while he also lends his vocals to recreate the iconic vocals of Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters. Assisting in
creating the most authentic Pink Floyd vocals possible are Natalie Azerad and Sharon Fatoorechi, lending their extensive singing
expertise to give the project the fullest range of vocals possible. Much touted performers Scott Richards and Marty Brumer
round out the rhythm section playing bass guitar and drums, respectively. Larry Isenberg, Nick Feduska, and Allen Moreno complete
the project applying their extensive musical capabilities towards keyboards and backing guitar.
The project has been
delivering its unique performance across North America for years, having produced tracks incorporated into local Los Angeles
Pink Floyd-esque music projects. They have produced and promoted their own differentiated take on Pink Floyd classics, including
their own full length record which became a prominent fixture on the local music scene.
Ones Pink? flagship CD The Basic Facts would drop in 2010, giving real presence to a project that initially had a focus on
performing rather than recording. The CD would receive much fan acclaim, with consistent 5/5 star ratings by fans across the
music distributing industry, with some fans finding the CD as a necessary auxiliary experience to the traditional Pink Floyd
The band's name is derived from lyrics on Pink Floyd's third track from their album Wish
You Were Here. The record carries the title track "Wish You Were Here", one of Pink Floyd's most memorable and heartfelt singles
The name of the band's CD The Basic Facts also stems from lyrics of a popular track, Pink Floyd's "Comfortably
Numb". Don't recall where in the song? Roger Waters' lyrics, spoken dreamily, start the song with "Just the basic facts. Can
you show me where it hurts? There is no pain, you are receding."
