Wicked Albuquerque Cast

The show's first run brought actors like Alison Luff, Gina Beck, Alison Fraser, Tim Kazurinsky, and Nick Adams from their respective performances to come together and play the roles in Wicked. The actors chosen for the show were thankfully the perfect fit, something that was a potential concern when casting for a show where people might associate the cast members they see on the stage with those characters as they've been portrayed in film, but thankfully, everything went off without a hitch. There were some minor switches during the second national tour of the cast and those included such famed stage actors as Jennifer DiNoia, Hayley Podschun, and Kathy Fitzgerald, so theater-goers need not worry about any drop in quality to this show. The casting director for Wicked worked tirelessly to ensure that only the very best performers are brought to the stage, and that's a feat they've thankfully been able to pull off once again. If you haven't yet had your chance to see Wicked performed for the stage, you would be doing yourself a favor by heading to StubHub and securing your seats while they're still available for you! Don't miss out, tickets for this show are bound to go fast, so secure yours today!

Wicked Albuquerque Author

If you haven't yet had the great opportunity to see Wicked performed for the stage, chances are you might still be a little confused as to how the show came to exist in the first place! Author Gregory Maguire considered himself a huge fan of The Wizard of Oz, but always felt as if L. Frank Baum's work left out too many unanswered questions. For example, why was the Wicked Witch of the West so evil? Was there a reason for her hatred of the citizens of Oz? Gregory Maguire looked for answers in L. Frank Baum's other works, but could find none. The origins of the Wicked Witch of the West was a concept he wanted to explore in his book. Naturally, when Wicked was released, it was a huge success. Since then, the show has been adapted for the stage by Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holman, with themusic and lyrics for the show done by Schwartz, and the book for the show written by Holzman. So if you haven't yet seen what Wicked is all about, you owe it to yourself to head to StubHub as soon as you're able and pick up your tickets to see this hit show while you still can!
