Wicked Salt Lake City Plot
Finding the right show for the weekend is something that should qualify as an Olympic
event. As soon as the work week is over and you've piled into your car, it's easy to understand how someone can be on their
phone scrolling through pages and pages of events in the hopes that something appealing will jump out and capture your attention.
Not only that, but then comes the struggle of finding actual tickets to said event. Well if you've been on StubHub looking
for something to do now that the weekend has begun, why not take a moment to consider taking in a show like Wicked? Wicked
is the re-imagining of the tale of Elphaba, the green-skinned witch that would drive fear into the hearts of those characters
who live in the land of Oz. With Glinda the Good Witch narrating the back story to this timeless tale, you'll learn about
the history of Oz as you've never seen it before. There was a time when Elphaba was a valued member of the community in Oz
and no one had any hatred in their heart towards her. Watch as this quickly changes due to her life experiences, something
not shown in The Wizard of Oz as they jump right to Dorothy's story instead of taking the time to explore some of the other
characters. If you wanted to know more about the wonderful world of Oz, you really do owe it to yourself to come and see Glinda,
the munchkins, and of course, Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West herself, as all of these characters act out their struggles
on the stage! Don't miss out on your chance to see the back story of these characters that you've known and loved since childhood,
head out to StubHub and pick up your tickets to see Wicked today!

show's first run brought actors like Alison Luff, Gina Beck, Alison Fraser, Tim Kazurinsky, and Nick Adams from their respective
performances to come together and play the roles in Wicked. There were some minor switches during the second national tour
of the cast and those included such famed stage actors as Jennifer DiNoia, Hayley Podschun, and Kathy Fitzgerald. This should
come as positive news for anyone who's been up-to-date on what's been happening in the world of Wicked. The actors meant for
this performance are put through a very rigorous vetting process that allows the casting director to ensure that only the
very best performers are allowed to go to the stage as the characters portrayed in this show. If you've seen or heard of the
quality of Wicked's first run in theaters through reviews, you should know that very same excellence is expected to return
when Wicked returns to the stage near you. Don't miss out on your chance to see this show, get your tickets through StubHub

Wicked Salt Lake City Author
The original book The Wizard of Oz was written by L.
Frank Baum, the contents of which are readily known by anyone who's ever had the opportunity to see the great film that was
released in 1939. But Gregory Maguire, author of Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, always had more
questions about the story. Who was the Wicked Witch of the West? Did she deserve what happened to her? These were the questions
that no one else was asking but Gregory Maguire, and so he set out to answer them when he wrote the story of Wicked. Rather
than ponder endlessly how the Wicked Witch ended up so evil, Gregory Maguire began his work on the book that would go more
in-depth about the land of Oz than even L. Frank Baum's books would. Thankfully, upon its release, critics raved about the
story, and it wasn't long until the show was adapted for the stage. The music and lyrics for the show were created by Stephen
Schwartz, while the book for the show was written by Winnie Holzman. If you have yet to see Wicked when it opens for the stage
near you, you owe it to yourself to head out and pick up your tickets through StubHub today!
