Wisconsin Badgers Football Schedule in 2014

The Wisconsin Badgers are ready to build something special this season as they take to the field for some riveting matchups on their home field. He Badgers have a roster absolutely packed with talent, as they do most seasons, and they are looking to rise in the ranks. The Badgers play in the Big Ten Conference, one of the most historic conferences in all of college football. The Badgers are coming off a very solid 2013 season in which they were able to win nine games and win all but two of their conference matchups. The Badgers are hoping to improve in 2014, and their strong spring practices and spring game make it seem like they are pointed in the right direction. It was mostly about the defense in this year's spring game, as the Cardinal Team took down the White Team by a score of 6-0. Austin Ramesh looked great in the two quarters in which he played, notching 71 yards on the ground. The Badgers are hoping that their defensive unit can carry this momentum into the regular season and stifle opposing offenses out of the gate in 2014. There are plenty of great home matchups on the Wisconsin football schedule this season.

The Badgers know that they're going to have a game on their hands on October 11th when the Illinois Fighting Illini come to Camp Randall Stadium this season. The Illini have a talented group of players that are looking to make their mark on the Big Ten, and a win against the Badgers would certainly send a message. Wisconsin is not going to make life easy for Illinois, though, and they're hoping to send them back to Champaign with a loss. Fans will surely pack the house for this conference matchup.

Another big game is coming to Camp Randall Stadium on November 15th when the Nebraska Cornhuskers visit Madison. The Huskers are always a tough team to take down, and that should be the case yet again in 2014. The Badgers would love to get this important Big Ten victory, and a great crowd is sure to be behind them for this conference battle. Join the biggest Badgers fans at the stadium this season for this or any of the other great matchups.

The eccentric Paul Bunyan's Axe is a traveling trophy that goes home with the winning team after the UW-UM matchup every season, and the rivalry has been playing out every year since 1907, making it one of the longest rivalries in college football history. But it isn't only about the rivalry with the Gophers, as the Badgers have plenty of other amazing games on the schedule that help to make their matchups loaded with anticipation leading up to the opening kick-off. When you're there in the middle of a nail-biter surrounded by tens of thousands of passionate fans, you'll understand loud and clear why it doesn't get any better than Badgers football.
