Do know where the terrier breed was originally developed?

That would be Great Britain, where the breed was mainly used to control infestations of rats, rabbits and foxes – long before they became the beloved pets that they are today. Though there were only two recognized breeds of terriers in the 18th century, these days there are several dozen different breeds that span all different shapes and sizes.
