Wolstein Center History
Completed in 1991, the Wolstein Center was designed to accommodate 13,610 basketball fans
and can accommodate up to 15,000 for professional wrestling and concerts, making it the perfect multiple purpose venue that
is always hosting one exciting event or another. The Wolstein Center additionally serves as the home to the Cleveland State
University men's and women's basketball teams and was the previous home of the Cleveland Force and the Cleveland Crunch. Since
its inception, it has also hosted a bevy of concerts, drawing top-drawer entertainers like Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood,
Justin Bieber, Avril Lavigne and TobyMac.
Though there are lots of things to do around Cleveland, it doesn't get any
better than seeing a big-time event that goes down at the Wolsein Center, which has become a major staple of the local entertainment
scene thanks to the wide variety of exciting events. It might be tempting to just stay at home and catch the highlights of

The Wolstein Center at Cleveland State
University is purposed to host a variety of special events, including world-class concerts, Division I basketball games for
the Horizon League Conference, nationally lauded family shows, rodeos, pro and amateur sporting events, horse shows, conventions,
community events, black-tie galas, fundraisers and trade shows. In the past, events have included the PBR's Bud Light Cup
bull-riding event, the Democratic Party presidential debate in 2008, the Mid-Continent Conference men's basketball tournament
and the 2002 Horizon League men's basketball tournament. With that many different types of events, there is sure to be a little
something for everyone as the Wolstein Center continues to bring some of the top entertainments to the Cleveland area.
