Created by the International Federation of PGA Tours, the World Golf Championships consists of four events for professional male golfers. The WGC-World Cup is the only event of the four that is outside of the PGA Tour. Tiger Woods has traditionally dominated these championship events, winning 12 of the first 23 tournaments.
