World Series tickets are available now for sale or purchase. Only two teams will make it to the biggest seven games in baseball, but that shouldn't stop any fan of baseball in general from seeing a World Series game once in his or her lifetime. Even if your team didn't make it this year, World Series tickets are still a "must-have" for any sports fan.
MLB tickets to see the (modern) World Series have been around since the first Series was played in 1903 between the Boston Red Sox and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Since then, the annual championship game has brought together the best teams from the National and American Leagues every year, with the exception of 1904. The Yankees have been overwhelmingly well-represented in the World Series, having appeared nearly forty times.
The World Series is the Super Bowl of baseball, just as the Super Bowl is the World Series of football. It is the culmination of thousands and thousands of innings of baseball over the course of the season, and pits the two best teams of the two pro baseball leagues against one another. What more could you want? If you really need a reason to go to the World Series, you probably shouldn't.
