        World Sumo Challenge Tickets - Japanese Tradition in America

        World Sumo Challenge tickets are available now for sale or purchase. The fiercest sumo competitors from Japan, Mongolia, Germany, Poland, Georgia, Hungary, Norway, Ukraine, Netherlands, Bulgaria, and the U.S.A. will all be in one spot for the World Sumo Challenge. The 2005 event took place in Madison Square Gardens and was a great success. The World Sumo Challenge differs from some of the Japanese tournaments with respect to rules and organization, but all agreed that the WSC was a great way to experience a Japanese tradition in America.

        World Sumo Challenge Tickets - East Meets West

        Fight tickets to the World Sumo Challenge have been in the sports tickets market since 2005, when the inaugural event took place in New York City. Sumo is an ancient Japanese martial art that can be traced back through many centuries. Sumo bouts are rife with ceremony and ritual, most of which can be traced to the Shinto religion. A match could last as long as ten minutes, or just two seconds, as the two wrestlers attempt to knock each other from the circle, or take their opponent to the ground.
