About Ying Yang Twins
The Ying Yang Twins first appeared
on the hip hop scene with their 2000 single, "Whistle While You Twurk," which made it to the number 17 position on the R&B/Hip-Hop
chart. Their debut album "Thug Walkin'" was released in April of 2000, however, it wasn't until their first record with TVT
records, "Me & My Brother," when their fame was launched to a new level. The album included the top club hits, "Naggin',"
"Whats Happnin," and "Salt Shaker." "Me & My Brother" debuted at number 11 on the Billboard 200, and stayed on the charts
for over 50 weeks. The album sold over 60,000 copies in just its first week, and was eventually certified Platinum. Later
that year, the Ying Yang Twins were also featured on Britney Spears' album "In the Zone," for the song "I Got That (Boom Boom)."
the time their next album, "U.S.A. (United State of Atlanta)," was released in 2005, the Ying Yang Twins were huge stars.
The album easily sold over 200,000 copies during its first week, and debuted at the number 2 position on the Billboard 200
chart. This album was also certified Platinum, with over 1 million copies sold. Clubs all over the nation were blasting the
album's hits, including "Wait (The Whisper Song), "Badd," and "Shake." After the massive success of their albums, the Ying
Yang Twins returned to the studio to begin their next album, "Chemically Imbalanced," which was released in 2006. This album
featured the production talents of Wyclef Jean and Keith Duplessis, and also DJ Smurf. "Chemically Imbalanced" included hits
like "Dangerous" and "Jigglin'." By 2012, the Ying Yang Twins had signed to Epic Records, releasing their first single with
the label later that year. The popular single "Fist Pump, Jump Jump," was released, and featured singer Greg Tecoz.
