Born out of late night creative musings between longtime friends Sam Martin and Simon Katz, Youngblood Hawke was the band the two had always dreamed of making but never thought would be possible - until they just up and did it. Exhausted after two years of touring with their former band and the tumult and disappointment that often comes with music industry success, Martin and Katz went back to the drawing board and founded a more simple creative outlet where they could write and share music with friends and family without commercial pressures.
