Anton Zaslavski is known by his stage name Zedd. He was born in Russia to musician parents but moved to Germany with his family when he was an infant. A classically trained musician, Zedd learned to play the piano and drums at the ripe old age of four. In 2002, Zedd joined the German band, Dioramic. He took a liking to electronic music, inspired by the French electronic duo Justice. He began producing his own electronic music in 2009.
