Adrianne Lenker Tickets
DonÕt let the sparseness and sweetness of Adrianne Lenker fool you. This folk musician is full of deep roots. Lenker has released several solo albums full of material that haunts the soul and lulls you into something of a trance. Her first record, Stages of the Sun, was full of songs that Lenker wrote between the ages of 11 and 14. She went on to release the 2014 effort, Hours Were the Birds, which was a bare album with only guitars and limited backing vocals. The result was a personal, evocative record that solidified LenkerÕs songwriting talent and maturity. Lenker views the album-making process as a way for her to transition into and out of the different stages of her life. Hours Were the Birds was about her living in New York and sleeping in warehouses while Abysskiss is about being on the road with her band and the ways her life has changed. It was recorded after a road trip across the Southwest over the span of one week. To catch a concert on the Adrianne Lenker tour, get your tickets right at StubHub.
