ALL IN Wrestling TicketsALL IN Wrestling is an event that took place on Sept. 1, 2018, in the Chicago, Ill., area. It is thought of as the biggest independent wrestling event in American history, and it is widely seen as the event that spawned a new era in American professional wrestling. The seeds of the event came from a question posed to the wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer on Twitter as to whether Ring of Honor Wrestling (the wrestling organization that the organizers of ALL IN were attached to) would be able to sell out a 10,000-capacity venue. His answer of, "Not any time soon!" led Cody Rhodes to fire back, "I'll take that bet, Dave." An event was already being planned, but this exchange really set things in motion. Once the event was announced, it sold out in under an hour. The event was marked by a unique amount of cooperation among several wrestling organizations since many of the participating wrestlers were under contract. When the organizers put on another ALL IN event, you'll be able to get your tickets at StubHub, the world's largest ticketing marketplace for live sporting events.
Who were some of the wrestlers to participate in ALL IN?Kota Ibushi, Rey Mysterio, Cody Rhodes, Nick Aldis and Jay Lethal were notable wrestlers who participated in the ALL IN Wrestling event.
What is the most famous match from the event?Several of the bouts have been talked about since the event. It is possible, though, that the most famous match is the Cody Rhodes vs. Nick Aldis match-up for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship belt. The special significance of this match is that the belt is the oldest in American professional wrestling history and was worn by Cody Rhodes' father, the professional wrestler Dusty Rhodes. Cody won the match and the belt.
Where was the event broadcast? An introductory hour of the event, entitled "ALL IN: Zero Hour," was broadcast on WGN America. The main card of the event was then shown on pay-per-view. The hour shown on WGN drew nearly 200,000 viewers.
Are the organizers still associated with Ring of Honor Wrestling?Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks who led the ALL IN event to its phenomenal success left ROH to then help establish All Elite Wrestling. They serve as executive vice presidents for the organization that has, in its first year, begun to rival the WWE in Nielsen ratings for their televised bouts.
What is the seating capacity of the Sears Centre Arena? The Sears Centre Arena is a multi-use facility whose capacity varies somewhat depending on the kind of event that is being held there. The maximum number of attendees it can accommodate is 11,800. Sporting events capacity can range from 9,400 for football games to 10,000 for basketball. The arena offers 43 luxury suites and features two lounges. An arena parking lot accommodates 3,200 vehicles, and up to 1,200 additional spots are available when needed.
What matches were advertised as part of the ALL IN card? The full match card for ALL IN featured a couple of pre-show matches. These two matches were a battle royale that was called the Over Budget 15-Man Battle Royale and a tag team match of The Briscoe Brothers vs. SoCal Uncensored. The main card featured an NWA championship match of Nick Aldis (pre-match champion) against Cody Rhodes as well as Kenny Omega vs. Pentagon Jr.
