Ally Challenge TicketsThe Ally Challenge is a golf tournament on the PGA Tour Champions schedule, occurring annually in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Located directly southwest of Flint, Michigan, and about an hour away from Detroit, the Ally Challenge calls Warwick Hills Country Club home. First established in 2018, the event has become a favorite on the Champions Tour, already drawing more attendees than most events on the tour. Formerly known as the Senior Tour, the PGA Tour Champions is the senior circuit of the highest level of professional golf, which means many golfers with highly decorated careers will be participating in the Ally Challenge. Previous winners of the Masters, U.S. Open and several other majors can be found on the leaderboard. The Ally Challenge consists of three rounds and is one of the last events on the Champions Tour before the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs. StubHub is your source for Ally Challenge tickets.

What is the history of the Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club? The idea for Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club was born in 1955 when the demand for membership was exceeding capacity at Flint Golf Club. After Warwick Hills opened in 1957, the course quickly caught the attention of the PGA. Beginning in 1958, the course hosted the Buick Open, a PGA Tour event that was later canceled in 2009, the same year that GM went bankrupt. The Ally Challenge brought PGA play back to Warwick Hills in 2018, and the course began to undergo a renovation project following the 2019 tournament.
Who are some notable participants of the Ally Challenge event? The 2019 Ally Challenge actually brought several past Buick Open champions back to Warwick Hills Country Club. Bernhard Langer, Fred Couples and three-time winner Vijay Singh all made their second Ally Challenge appearances. The year 2019 also brought Hall of Famer Colin Montgomerie and saw the debuts of Miguel Angel Jimenez, Angel Cabrera and Gary Nicklaus while Gary’s father Jack Nicklaus participated in the event’s charitable Celebrity Shootout. The 2019 field was praised by players as one of the best of the year.
How much money is won at the Ally Challenge? The Ally Challenge currently features a $2 million purse, with the 2019 winner taking home a prize of $300,000. Additionally, the tournament raises a considerable amount for charity. The 2018 event saw over $800,000 donated, which nearly doubled in 2019 to $1.5 million. The money donated benefits organizations in the greater Flint area and southeastern Michigan, with United Way of Genesee County being a primary beneficiary in 2019.
