Stage 3 runs for 110 laps and ends the race. In 2001, Kevin Harvick won the first Alsco 300. Since then, many NASCAR stars have won the Alsco 300. Kyle Busch, Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano each have three Alsco 300 trophies. Logano won three times in a row between 2008 and 2010. Busch won back-to-back in 2016 and 2017. Kyle Busch set the Alsco 300 qualifying record with a lap of 187.318 in 2016. Austin Dillon holds the record for average race speed at 151.643 mph. Starting position is important in the Alsco 300, as seven winners have started on the pole. Kevin Harvick started 11th for his historic 2001 victory. How big is Kentucky Speedway?The Kentucky Speedway is a 1.5-mile asphalt track on a 1,000-acre facility. Its turns are banked at 17 degrees in Turns 1 and 2 and at 14 degrees in Turns 3 and 4. The racing surface is 72 feet wide and narrows to 56 feet through the first two turns.
