American Le Mans Series tickets are available, and this up-and-coming racing series is borrowing from the extreme popularity of its European counterpart. The series was put together to feature different high-end auto manufacturers, and these sports tickets allow fans to see racing teams compete in long-distance races that are as much about endurance as they are skill.
The American Le Mans Series was founded in 1999 by auto magnate Dan Panoz, as Panoz was also a fan of the 24 Hours of Le Mans that's held every year in Europe. Every season consists of between six and ten races, and the longest race is 1,000 miles in length. Points are awarded for each race depending on the finish, and the leaders in each racing class at the end of the season are invited to the following year's 24 Hours of Le Mans.
