Ever since her breakout single 'Adore' played on repeat across alternative Aussie radio station Triple J, Gold Coast native Amy Shark found her calling in the nick of time. Just as she was about to call it a day, the singer-songwriter found her crowd and exploded into the spotlight. You can see just why with Amy Shark tickets ready to buy and sell right here on StubHub!
Having spent the majority of her twenties playing soul-destroying cover gigs whilst working as a video editor for local rugby team the Gold Coast Titans, it was beyond overwhelming when 'Adore' started to blow up for Amy Shark. The phone rang off the hook as record labels, managers, and booking agents heard the track and, upon discovering she was unsigned, fought for her attention. In no time, Shark was flown out to New York for meetings, meetings, and more meetings. No more than six months after 'Adore' made its debut on the airwaves, she was signed to Australian company Wonderlick Entertainment, an expansion of the Sony Entertainment Group. A few months later, in April 2017, Shark won Song of the Year and Artist of the Year on home turf at the Gold Coast Music Awards, although more international successes were still to come. Towards the latter end of the same year, she appeared on the hugely popular US TV shows 'The Late Late Show with James Corden' and later 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon'. Her music was also featured on the hit 2018 film 'Love, Simon', with further contributions from The 1975 and fellow Australian Troye Sivan. All this before the release of her debut album, 'Love Monster'! There's something about Amy Shark, that's for sure. Now, you can see why, with Amy Shark tickets available to buy and sell through StubHub today!
'Love Monster' dropped on the 13th of July 2018 and features 14 tracks of unmistakably Amy Shark sounds. With her simple, laid-back yet detailed and vulnerable lyrics to pop-punk inspired melodies, featuring the legendary vocals of Blink-182 legend Mark Hoppus on the track 'Psycho', the project attracted a lot of attention from world class producers and musicians. Her track 'All Loved Up' was produced by Jack Antonoff, who has worked with the likes of Taylor Swift and Lorde, as well as Joel Little, a Sam Smith and Imagine Dragons collaborator. Amy Shark's music has attracted a lot of attention from international audiences too, so act fast when you buy Amy Shark tickets and grab them before they sell out.
