Arturo Brachetti Tickets
Introducing quick-change artist Arturo Brachetti
Arturo Brachetti specialises in a very particular kind of magic performance: he's a "quick-change" artist, which is a magician who has the skill to change outfits in front of the audience in seconds. In fact, he's regarded as the foremost proponent of the art in the world; he has incredible ability—he often changes costumes and acts out up to 80 different characters in a single show. This is a truly novel illusionist, and well worth seeing—you can buy or sell Arturo Brachetti tickets on StubHub.
An early start to a stellar career as a magician
Arturo Brachetti hails from Turin, and he learnt magic at an early age from a priest who was attached to a nearby seminary. By the age of 15, he embarked on his stage career and chose the quick change style that was invented by Leopoldo Fregoli in the nineteenth-century. About five years later he made his professional debut at a cabaret theatre in Paris, which immediately opened doors to a wider performing career that has seen him act in well-known stage musicals, make several US TV appearances, and entertain the audience during the intermission at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1991. He's even written and composed his own musicals that have become well-respected in the theatre world and hugely popular with audiences. Among others, he wrote "Fregoli", which won the Italian Golden Ticket Award for selling the most tickets in a single season, and he also took roles in classic musicals like Peter and the Wolf. This is a multi-talented artist who has a knack for stage performance, able to seamlessly segue from one character to another during a show that combines illusion, magic, and comedy. Arturo Brachetti tickets are a treat for everyone in the family.
Breaking theatre records and winning international awards
Once Arturo Brachetti had established his own reputation as a performer, he turned his hand to theatre directing, creating a famous live show with the Italian comedy trio known as Aldo, Giovanni, and Giacomo, which was later made into a highly successful TV comedy series. He also became the stage director for Italian folk rock singer Angelo Branduardi. One of his most notable career highlights was in 1999 when he created a small comedy show called "The Man With a Thousand Faces", intending for it to only run at the Canadian "Just For Laughs" comedy festival. The show went on to run for more than a thousand performances, and was seen by over 1.5 million people. His next show for the Montreal Festival was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award, and this was just the start: he's also won the prestigious Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres from the French Ministry of Culture.
