On a site that was originally known as the Atlanta Hoop Company, the Atlantic Station got its start in 1901 making barrel hoops and cotton bale ties. The company grew to become a steel mill a few decades later enjoying great success until the 1990s when competition overcame it. In the late '90s however, developers began to dream of revitalizing the property and in 2005 Atlantic Station became America's biggest urban Brownfield redevelopment of the time period. It's not just an upscale shopping and residential zone, it's a showcase of great events like the BB&T Atlanta Open, BODIES The Exhibition and Cirque de Soleil. The best Atlantic Station tickets are available at StubHub.
