The Barclays Center is located along a stretch of the historic Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn, New York. Opened on September 21, 2012, it is the official home of the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association and the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League. It is also the alternative home of the Long Island University basketball program and briefly hosted the Long Island Nets NBA developmental team in 2016 and 2017. The arena has a seating capacity of 17,732 for basketball games and 15,795 for hockey games. It is owned and operated by the Brooklyn Events Center. Can I reach the Barclays Center by public transportation?

Yes, you can access the arena by train, bus or subway. The Atlantic Terminal, which services the Long Island rail road, is located along Atlantic Avenue right next to the arena. The Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station, which services the New York subway system, can be reached on the 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, N, Q, R and W routes. The MTA regional bus operations can take you near the arena via routes B37, B41, B45, B63, B65, B67 or B103.

Does the Barclays Center have on-site parking?

Apart from reserved parking, the on-site parking locations in the immediate vicinity of the arena are limited. However, there are several parking garages and lots located within a half-mile radius of the arena. These spots must be purchased separately from your Barclay Center tickets. Prices may vary by location. The Barclays Center also has a convenient drop-off location on the eastbound shoulder and a pickup area on the northbound shoulder for taxis, limos and ridesharing services.

Is the Barclays Center accessible for disabled guests?

Yes, the Barclays Center has accessible parking spots, drop-off locations, restrooms, elevators, escalators, concessions stands and wheelchair and companion seating all throughout the arena and surrounding lots. For hearing-impaired guests, assisted-listening devices are available at guest services. You can also request interpretive services within three weeks after ticket sales begin. Services animals are available as well.

The Barclays Center offers numerous food options, including Nathan's famous hot dogs, Table 87 coal-oven, margherita-style pizza, Junior's cheesecake, Graze Smokehouse, Habana sandwiches and bowls, Brooklyn Bangers & Dogs hand-crafted sausages, Buffalo Boss' boneless wings with sides, Atlantic Melt grilled cheese and Calexico, a Californian take on Mexican food among many others.

Is there premium Barclays Center seating?

Yes, the arena has multiple premium seating experiences. The traditional luxury suites, which have a capacity of 10 to 70 people, comes with expert catering, a VIP entrance, luxury accommodations, a personal suite sales representative and suite attendant and access to the Billboard Lounge. If you rent a suite over multiple games, then you can also use it on non-event days. The Studio Suites, which house eight guests, allow you to relax before and after the event. It comes with many of the same amenities as the traditional suite. The Grant Thornton Loge Box that is located in the lower bowl comes with a VIP entrance, all-inclusive food and beverage, and access to the Billboard Lounge.
