Situated in Sunrise, Florida, just 30 minutes from downtown Miami is the BB&T Center. This indoor arena, which was built in 1998, has served as a home for the Florida Panthers and has also featured numerous entertaining acts and events. It was previously a home to the Florida Pit Bulls basketball team as well as the Miami Caliente football team.The venue has housed concerts, UFC fights, stand-up comedy acts and more. Famed musicians such as Bruno Mars, Bon Jovi and Jon Mayer have had their concerts hosted at the BB&T Center. Are on-site parking accommodations available?

The center does offer on-site parking. Guests attending BB&T Center events will be provided access to on-site parking approximately two hours before the start of the scheduled event. Vehicles must park in a proper parking space and may not occupy more than one space at a time.

Are children allowed inside the venue?

The BB&T Center permits children to attend a wide variety of events. Children must have a ticket to gain entry except for children under the age of 2. Children under the age of 2 must sit on the lap of the parent, guardian or ticketholder at all times. Check with the venue to determine if you need a ticket for your child before purchasing your ticket to a specific event.

Are there food and drinks available for purchase?

The BB&T Center offers food and drink options for event guests. Keep in mind that you may not bring personal food and drinks into the venue except for water kept in a securely sealed plastic bottle. Exceptions may also be made for parents bringing babies and children, which would allow for appropriate snacks in reasonable quantities and stored in clear, sealed plastic containers. Guests who are otherwise looking for food and beverages can visit the concessions stands for peanuts, hot dogs, chicken fingers, carbonated beverages, coffee and more.

Am I allowed to bring my camera to the event?

Cameras are permissible at Florida Panthers games if you keep the flash turned off or unattached. For all other events, you will need to check with the venue to determine if cameras are allowed since the policies will vary. When taking pictures, you must not interfere with the entertainment of other guests nor block seats, aisles and access ways. Video and audio recording devices are not allowed to be used during the events.

What is the BB&T Center seating capacity?
