What happened during the 2019 Recap of the Blancpain GT World Challenge Race?With many of the world's best racecar drivers participating in the 2019 Blancpain GT World Challenge, the Ferrari team took two classes out of the opening three events. The race had to be halted for 50 minutes under a red-flag due to an incident that resulted in a barrier requiring repairs. The officials restarted the race with one hour and 17 minutes remaining. After battling back and forth during the race, Ferrari drivers Toni Vilander and Miguel Molina ended up finishing in fourth place while racer Wei Lu took the checkered flag with an outstanding performance at the Texas track. Molina was near the front, running in third place until a heated battle caused him to fall back to fourth position. Lu won the race with his racing partner Jeff Segal, driving a TR3 Racing Ferrari 488 GT3.
