BMW PGA Championship TicketsThe BMW PGA Championship is one of the most important events on the European PGA Tour. Originally founded in 1955 as the British PGA Championship, the tournament used to rotate between several different British golf courses early in its history. However, the organizers found a permanent home at the Wentworth Club in 1984. Wentworth soon became synonymous with the tournament itself. In 2005, the tournament changed its name to the BMW PGA Championship to recognize the car company as a major sponsor and partner of the event. Though it isn’t one of the four major tournaments, the BMW PGA Championship has attracted some of the best talents on the European tour. Past winners have included four-time champion Nick Faldo, Colin Montgomerie, who is the only player to win in three successive years, Jose Maria Olazabal, Rory McIlroy, Luke Donald and Arnold Palmer, the only American to win the tournament.
