The Bank of Oklahoma Center is the premier event facility for Eastern Oklahoma. Construction of the BOK Center began in 2005. The arena finally opened in August 2008 with a series of specialty concerts by Garth Brooks and Hansen. The Eagles were the first band that played a series of concerts to a sold-out crowd starting on September 6, 2008. The Bank of Oklahoma acquired naming rights for the facility at the purchase price of $11 million dollars. The building project was part of the Tulsa Vision 2025. You will not be disappointed with the food and beverage offerings at the BOK Center. Diverse culinary options are present on every level of the arena. Several deluxe restaurants are available in addition to the standard concession stand food fare. Papa John's provides pizza. Candy Shop, which is in sections 104 and 305, satisfy your sweet cravings. Billy's has chicken strips, onion rings and double cheeseburgers. All patrons over the age of 21 can purchase alcoholic beverages. Margaritas and daiquiris are available on the second floor of the arena. You can also purchase beer at many of the concession stands. Patrons cannot purchase beer within the 45-minute timeframe of an event closing.

The Blue Dome District is a noted entertainment area that contains many restaurants and art venues. Many patrons attend this area once their event has finished. You can also view shows at the Cox Convention Center and the Performing Arts Center. All locations are centrally located in downtown Tulsa.
