Bridgestone Invitational Trivia
Once this event was officially started in 1976, an American golfer won each of the first seven tournaments, though two different golfers from the same country became back-to-back winners in 1983 and 1984. Can you name the country they were from?
The answer is Zimbabwe. The first non-American to win the event was Nick Price, though he was soon followed in 1984 by Dennis Watson, who was also born in Zimbabwe. Other countries to have more than one winner at this event include Australia (four), South Africa (two) and Spain (two).
