Brighton Centre

Situated on the sea front of this popular holiday destination, this building is the largest exhibition centre in Southern England and can accommodate up to 5,000 delegates, along with being used as a live music venue. Also open for weddings and other events, the venue was first opened in 1977 by the then Prime Minister James Callaghan. A major redevelopment of the site took place in 2012, with renovation of the main entrance and the venue's restaurant. In its first year its stage saw Bing Crosby put on his final performance before his unexpected death a few days later. It has subsequently hosted a number of touring bands and artists, whilst also playing hosts to events like the British Open Snooker and Premier League Darts.

Live Events at the Brighton Centre

The next few months see a variety of events take place at the centre, including comedy with stars like Michael McIntyre, music with artists such as Years and Years, Will Young and The Vaccines and even an action packed night of spectacular WWE wrestling. Holiday on Ice also returns to the UK for one week only next year, with the Brighton Centre as one of the key venues.

Located in the heart of Brighton, right by the seafront, the venue is easily accessible via public transport and is only a short walk from the mainline railway station.
