Located in Atlanta's favorite historical neighborhood, the Buckhead Theatre venue has been a part of Buckhead's nightlife since its opening on June 2, 1930. Built in Spanish Baroque style, the theatre first functioned as a second-run movie theater and venue for Buckhead Symphony Orchestra concerts and local civic events. Affiliated Theaters sold their lease in 1935 to the Weiss Theatre chain and the Buckhead Theatre venue, after converting to a first-run policy, was renamed The Capri Theatre. In the mid-1980s, the venue was renamed as Buckhead Cinema ÔN' Drafthouse. It was later called the Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre to honor Atlanta's status as founding city of the world-famous soft drink. The Roxy remained a significant concert venue through the years until their lease ended in 2008. After two years of renovations, it reopened in 2010 under the original name as a venue for lectures, Broadway shows and concerts. They host musical talents like Jesse James Decker and Steve Earle. Enjoy standup comedy from greats like Drew Lynch. Grab your Buckhead Theatre tickets at StubHub.
