Santana Tickets

Santana is an American rock band formed in San Francisco, California in 1966 by Mexican-American guitarist Carlos Santana. The group pioneered a fusion of rock and roll with Latin American and Afro-Cuban rhythms, layering melodic, blues-based guitar lines over percussion instruments like timbales and congas that were rarely heard in rock at the time. Their breakthrough came with a now-legendary set at the Woodstock Festival in August 1969, where an eleven-minute performance of "Soul Sacrifice" introduced the band to a global audience before their debut album had even been released.

That self-titled debut peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, and the follow-up, Abraxas (1970), spent six weeks at No. 1, producing signature tracks "Black Magic Woman" and "Oye Como Va." Santana III (1971) also reached No. 1, cementing the band's status during its classic era. After years of exploring jazz fusion and shifting lineups through the late 1970s and 1980s, Santana staged one of the most remarkable comebacks in music history with Supernatural (1999). The album shipped over 15 million copies in the United States, reached No. 1 after eighteen weeks on the Billboard 200, and won eight Grammy Awards, tying the single-night record held by Michael Jackson. "Smooth," featuring Rob Thomas, spent twelve weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, while "Maria Maria" added another ten weeks at the top spot.

With over 100 million records sold worldwide, a 1998 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and a catalog that spans more than 25 studio albums, Santana tickets offer a chance to experience one of the most distinctive and enduring sounds in live music. Carlos Santana's guitar tone is one of the most recognizable in rock, and the band's percussive, rhythm-driven live shows have drawn audiences for nearly six decades.
