Central Park SummerStage Tickets

Located in Rumsey Playfield in Central Park in Metro New York City, the SummerStage is the site of both free and ticketed performance concerts. It is situated off 5th Avenue and 72nd Street. As an outdoor festival, sponsored by City Parks Foundation (CPF), it has many free performances; ticketed concerts of famous names are also held here. Founded in 1986, the SummerStage has included shows of dance, spoken word, electronic music and programming for families. You might see Tash Sultana, The Zombies, Elvis Costello or other great musicians. Steven Tyler, Jason Mraz, Randy Newman, the Indigo Girls, South African singer Miriam Makeba, Trombone Shorty and Eddie Palmieri have all appeared here. Benefit Central Park SummerStage ticketed concerts provide support for free concerts throughout the five boroughs of New York. The bigger shows take place on the Mainstage in the park.
