Cellphones, diaper bags, small purses and a personal camera, such as a compact point-and-shoot, are allowed inside the venue. The following are generally not allowed inside of Charleston Civic Center events: guns, knives, knitting needles or any items that can be considered a weapon; large bags such as totes, a large purse or backpack; a professional camera, selfie stick and camera case; and outside food and drink.
