Charlotte 49ers Basketball TicketsThe men’s basketball team of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte begun its run in 1965. It was under the leadership of head coach Bill Foster that the team took home big wins. The coach helped the Charlotte 49ers to two 20-win performances during the 1973-1974 and the 1974-1975 basketball seasons. The 49ers posted its best record the following season after earning the Sun Belt Conference’s first berth into the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA). The season saw the team finish with its first and still only Final Four finish. In the 1994-1995 season, the team finished sixth place in the Conference USA under head coach Jeff Mullins. The next seasons saw the Charlotte 49ers sustain what it had built over the years. However, the team saw a bump during the 2004-05 season when it was left as the only non-football sport after most of those in the conference transferred to the Big East. The 2012-13 season saw the team bouncing back. To be in on the action, get your 49ers' tickets now at StubHub.
