Highlighting the fluidity of her identity, Christine and the Queens has also adopted another alter ego named Chris.
Breaking BoundariesChristine and the Queens studied theater at the prestigious Ecole institute of higher learning in France, but ultimately chose to combine her love of dancing and theatrics into a music career instead. Around this time, she had a breakthrough performance at the 2012 Fnac Live Festival in Paris, France.
