About Christopher Lloyd
Born in Stamford, Connecticut, in 1938, Christopher Lloyd is the youngest of seven children. After moving to New York to pursue acting at the ripe age of 19, his first Broadway debut was Red, White and Maddox in 1969. Lloyd’s first movie role was as a psychiatric patient, Max Taber, in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest in 1975, opposite Jack Nicholson. It wasn’t until his breakout television performance as taxi cabbie “Reverend” Jim Ignatowski on Taxi that he became a household name. Winning two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in Taxi, Christopher Lloyd had hit the big time.
Lloyd is best known for his eccentric portrayal of Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown in the Back to the Future Trilogy. Other memorable movie roles include Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Uncle Fester Addams in the Addams Family Values, Al “The Boss” Angel in Angels in the Outfield and Professor Plum in Clue.
The Live Event
The live show, Christopher Lloyd Goes ‘Back to the Future’, is based on his experiences with one of the top-grossing film franchises in Hollywood history: Robert Zemeckis’ 1985 time-traveling comedy, Back to the Future. Behind-the-scenes glimpses and Lloyd’s familiarity with Steven Spielberg, Michael J. Fox and more, make for a lively evening of story telling and hilarity. Audience members are permitted to ask questions during an audience-directed Q&A session and take photographs; VIP members can even speak privately with America’s “favorite time-traveling scientist.”

Christopher Lloyd is bringing his zany scientist to the Keswick Theater in Glenside, Pennsylvania. This historic venue opened on Christmas day in 1928. As one of the most popular theaters in Pennsylvania, and one of Pollstar’s “Top 50 Theater Venues,” it was designed by Horace Trumbauer – the architect of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The theater was dark for a while and reopened again in 1988 under private ownership, after millions of dollars in renovation.
