Cirque de Soleil Toruk Minneapolis Tickets
Cirque du Soleil Toruk Tickets
Toruk, the First Flight, is a circus performance created and produced by Cirque du Soleil and inspired by movie director James Cameron’s film, Avatar. It debuted in 2015. This Minneapolis performance is set in the lush world of Pandora, thousands of years before the events of the film. It takes you on a “visually stunning” odyssey through a “new world of imagination, discovery and possibility.”
The storytelling is accomplished through fantastic and breathtaking displays of acrobatics, gymnastics and dancing, as well as the extensive use of puppets set to fascinating and interesting rhythms and music. The make-up, costuming and sets will also leave you stunned. It’s an amazing and completely family-friendly extravaganza of visual and aural excitement.
Cirque du Soleil
Cirque du Soleil is an innovative and creative circus-style performing and production troupe based in Canada. Starting in the 1980s and crafting shows that “reinvented” the circus (without animals) and circus-type performance, they took their shows to the United States and Europe, wowing audiences with feats of athletic and gymnastic prowess, and imaginative and artistic displays. Acrobats, gymnasts, circus performers, dancers and even swimmers perform in several different and original shows that have only expanded in storytelling and creativity—on visual and aural levels—with each new production.
In addition to the acrobats, there are also scores of visual artists, musicians and technicians who work to create each of these spectaculars, from imaginative sets to amazing makeup and costumes to incredible choreography. Cirque du Soleil’s shows have been enjoyed by millions all over the world.
