More about Cornerstones of Rock
The Cornerstones of Rock is an event that captures the heart and soul of rock music from the mid-60s through the early 70s. This live performance brings together five legendary bands of those years. The idea behind the Cornerstones of Rock is that rock continues to live on and does not go out of style. Since there is still a continued demand for live performances from these bands, it made sense for them to all get together for one memorable show.
The Cornerstones of Rock experience
Five bands perform at the Cornerstones of Rock show. The Buckinghams are an American sunshine pop band known for songs such as "Kind of a Drag" and Hey Baby Theyre Playing Our Song." Original band members Nick Fortuna and Carl Giammarese perform some of their highest-ranked songs at this live event.
The Cryan' Shames are known for their pop singles "I Wanna Meet You" and "It Could Be We're In Love." Original band members Tom Doody, Jim Hooke, and James Fairs perform together on this tour. The New Colony Six features their original members Bruce Mattey, Ronnie Rice, and Ray Graffia. The Ides of March perform during the Cornerstones of Rock with all four original band members while The Shadows of Knight features original member Jim Sohns.
At the show, there is a designated seating chart for the audience. However, guests are free to stand up and dance while jamming out to their favorite artists. Keep in mind that booths are also set up outside of the theater so that you can get an autograph from any of the band members.
