Crescent Ballroom History

In 1910, The F.L. Hart Garage was created. It was a single story brick building with a wood truss roof that sat along the original Old Dixie Highway. The building that would become the Crescent Ballroom was part of the inaugural class of America's highways, and was an important reason why Phoenix went from a farming community to a bustling city epicenter. Though the venue went through a number of changes before finally becoming the Crescent Ballroom, it was always known for being at the right place at the right time for Phoenix's entire history, making it a historic landmark.

Over the years, the Crescent Ballroom has hosted a wide variety of events ranging from local get-togethers to concerts featuring the biggest names in music. But the Crescent Ballroom is also known for being a comedy hub in the greater Phoenix area, catering to both the local and the national stand-up scene. Crescent Ballroom Seating Layout

The Crescent Ballroom's seating layout is divided into three parts: a lounge that's open daily and always free, a 21-and-over club that features a stage with live music, and a private restaurant-style area that's seating room only. The kitchen has a menu overseen by Chris Bianco and Doug Robson. The venue also hosts free live music every day from either a house band or a touring act, so there's always something going on.
