Located in Worcester, Massachusetts, the DCU Center, initially known as Centrum in Worcester, is a convention center and indoor arena that has hosted many different events such as family shows, concerts, sporting events and even trade shows. Owned by the City of Worcester, the SMG-managed arena first opened its doors in 1982 with a performance by Frank Sinatra as one its very first events. The DCU later expanded, adding more seating as well as balconies, allowing the DCU Center to host huge events such as Stars On Ice and performances by Pentatonix, Ghost and more with more than 10,000 patrons in attendance. Can I take public transportation to get to a DCU Center event?

Yes, public transportation for DCU Center events is available. You can take the MBTA commuter rail to Union Station, located at 34 Washington Square in Worcester. Once you arrive at Union Station, the DCU Center is just about a half mile away. If you're walking to the DCU Center from the station, after you exit Union Station, you should make a left and then go right onto Foster Street. After you pass the hospital, you'll see the DCU Center across the street.
