Diddle Arena is located on the rolling hills campus of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. It was named for the Hall of Famer, and the university's former coach, Edgar "E.A." Diddle. Built in 1963, the Diddle Arena is still home to both men's Hilltoppers basketball and Lady Toppers basketball and volleyball. The arena also hosts varying NCAA Basketball championships. Renovations in 2002 enhanced Diddle Arena's seating, concessions, restrooms and playing floor. The arena building also holds some classes in the physical education and military science departments, along with faculty offices. What is the Diddle Arena's seating capacity?
With the 2002 renovations, the seating capacity was reduced from 11,300 to 7,326. Seats are spread over two levels and include 16 luxury boxes.
