The 2013 classic was held at Jackie Robinson Stadium on the campus of UCLA due to construction at Dodger Stadium and saw Notre Dame defeat Oklahoma 6-5 in two extra innings and UCLA defeat USC 6-1. In 2015, TCU defeated Vanderbilt 4-2, and USC defeated UCLA 8-4. The first tie game of the Classic occurred in 2016 with Oklahoma State and Mississippi State ending at 5-5 while UCLA defeated USC 5-3 in 14 innings. Michigan defeated San Diego 3-1, and USC defeated UCLA 4-3 in extra innings in 2017. Vanderbilt defeated TCU 7-4, and USC defeated UCLA 3-2 in 2018. In 2019, Oklahoma State defeated Michigan 3-2 in 10 innings while UCLA defeated USC 7-5.
