In 2019, after a $68 million renovation project, Mississippi State University, a public land-grant research university adjacent to Starkville, Mississippi, unveiled the updated Dudy Noble Field at Polk-Dement Stadium. Home of the Mississippi State Bulldogs baseball, this stadium draws some of the biggest crowds in college baseball. For years, Dudy Noble Field was known for its famous Left Field Lounge, where fans could watch the game from platforms in the outfield. To give fans the same game day environment as before, while also upgrading their overall experience, the renovation project added permanent structures to the outfield area. The stadium's reserved chair-back seats routinely sell out, but general admission tickets allow thousands of additional fans to watch the game. The stadium has an open-air concourse, so you can view the action on the field from nearly anywhere in the venue. To ensure your spot for Dudy Noble Field events, get your tickets at StubHub.
What is the Dudy Noble Field seating capacity?
There are 13,000 seats in Dudy Noble Field. Many of these are reserved chair-backs on the Concourse Level and the View Level. The stadium also has multiple lounges and suites. In addition to reserved seats, the general admission areas of the stadium, which are standing-room only, increase the overall capacity of the venue.
Can you tell me about the food and drink offerings?
Concession stands at Dudy Noble Field sell items like hot dogs, popcorn, nachos, Little Caesar's pizza, soft drinks and bottled water. Fans may bring small coolers without wheels into the stadium but may not bring alcoholic beverages.
Is there on-site parking?
Most of the parking lots around the field require reserved parking passes. Those who do not have parking passes can use one of the free lots around campus. These include the lots at Garner Hall and Memorial Hall. Most lots are about a 15-minute walk from the stadium.
Should I call a sitter, or can I bring the young ones along?
Children are welcome to attend games at Dudy Noble Field. All attendees must have their own tickets. Lil' Dudes Zone is a play area for the smallest baseball fans, and the venue offers free Tag-A-Kid ID wristbands at the Bully's Kids Club tent. Parents can bring strollers into the stadium, but they cannot take them into the seating areas.
Is Dudy Noble Field a wheelchair-friendly facility?
Dudy Noble Field offers accessible seating in select areas of the stadium. Attendees in wheelchairs can enter the venue at the Home Plate Gate, the 1st Base Gate, the Right Field Gate or the Center Field Gate. All restrooms offer disability accommodations. Handicapped parking is available in the lot to the east of Humphrey Coliseum.Back to Top
