Old National Center is a multi-venue facility in downtown Indianapolis. The three venues are The Murat Theater, Deluxe and the Egyptian Room. The Egyptian Room is the middle venue in terms of capacity size. The venue was first constructed in 1909 when it was a Shriners temple called the Murat Temple. Since then, it has undergone multiple updates and renovations but maintains its turn of the century design and charm. The design of the structure is themed after mosques found around North Africa and in the Middle East, specifically Egyptian mosques. The Egyptian Room was added to the structure in 1922. A number of musical acts have performed in the Egyptian Room over the years, including Metallica, Wiz Khalifa and Smashing Pumpkins. Get Egyptian Room tickets at StubHub for the best seats.
