Escape The Fate Background
Escape The Fate first took shape in 2004 in their hometown of Las Vegas. Escape The Fate only needed a year after their inception to raise antennae. By the fall of 2005, the band had landed a slot on My Chemical Romance's tour. And taking home the grand prize from a radio contest only helped to raise their profile on the tour. They also cinched a contract with Epitaph Records. The following year, Escape The Fate's first EP dropped titled, There's No Sympathy for the Dead. The EP yielded a pair of songs that later made their way onto Dying is Your Latest Fashion, which served as their debut full-length effort. In 2008, Escape The Fate's sophomore album arrived, This War Is Ours. The album spawned crowd pleasers like "10 Miles Wide," "Something" and "The Flood." To support the effort, the band embarked on a tour, which included support from acts like William Control and Burn Halo. Later on that year, Escape The Fate met up with Hollywood Undead and Atreyu for a European and American tour. In the summer of 2010, Escape The Fate journeyed to Central and South America. They used the tour as a springboard to stir up some buzz for the release of their eponymous album. The album hit shelves in the late fall of 2010 and yielded singles like "Issues" and "Massacre." The album also made its way to the charts, scoring the No. 25 spot. Throughout the 2010s, the band continued to stick to an aggressive tour schedule prior to issuing 2013's Ungrateful. Their latest effort, Hate Me, dropped in late 2015.
