Festival No 6 Tickets
Festival N°6 Tickets
Bordered by a multicoloured jumble of Italianate houses and the scenic River Dwyryd Estuary, the sophisticated surroundings at Festival N°6 will wow even the most seasoned festival-goer. The swaying palms, ornamental gardens and open-air swimming pool all add to the Mediterranean vibe of Portmeirion's largest annual festival. More than just a music event, the interactive performances, comedy shows, live acts, parades and stalls make Festival N°6 a true celebration of the arts.
Festival N°6 Bands and Singers
Numerous musical greats have graced the stages here, including the Manic Street Preachers, James Blake, Kate Tempest, The Pet Shop Boys and Mark Ronson. Festival N°6 is relatively small, so performances are intimate and you'll always have a view of the stars in action.
The bill features a hearty mix of soul, funk, jazz, pop, ambient, electronic, tribal and hip-hop genres. Wander over to the forested area for banging beats and a floating dance floor, catch an act in the Town Hall or head to the main stage to watch the big names. As the sun sets, superstar DJs play secret sets that are perfect for stomping the night away.
Festival N°6 Food Lineup
Foodies are in for a weekend of indulgence, as culinary experiences range from finger-licking good street stalls to gastronomic fine-dining experiences. Bespoke banquets hosted by Michelin-starred chefs are a hit, and guests can also book a sit-down dinner inside of the 4-star Portmeirion Hotel. Independent food stalls offer a selection of world cuisines, and there is even a traditional local market where you can sample Welsh delights.
The Festival N°6 Experience
Don your weird, wacky and wonderful party clothes as fancy dress is almost mandatory during this three-day extravaganza. Suggested daily costume themes will help to unleash your inner fashion designer; if in doubt, sequined jackets, glittery gowns and custom headpieces are always a festival favourite.
Festival N°6 tickets will grant you access to many sectioned areas, each with their own vibe, theme and style. Quirky market sellers offer vintage wares and fashion from neon 80s shell suits to chic 40s dresses. Touted as a family-friendly event, the balloon modellers and circus performers in the Kid's Mischief Meadow will help to keep restless little-ones entertained, and there is a dedicated family camping area.
The History of Festival N°6
Festival N°6 was dreamed up by the same music masterminds who created Snowbombing and The Warehouse Project. It was named after a secret agent character in the much-loved TV show, "The Prisoners", which was mostly filmed in Portmeirion. First held in 2012, Festival N°6 has since won the Best New Festival at the UK Festival Awards and landed Best Small Festival at the NME awards. It's held over three days in September when average temperatures are ideal for outdoor shenanigans. Camping is available on-site, and local B&Bs, hostels and hotels provide an alternative way to catch some Zs and recharge for another day of field fun. Feeling flashy? Book a designer tipi or yurt in the festival's exclusive boutique glamping zone.
