Can I reach the arena via public transportation?
The Met Transit system goes to the park. However, many evening MetraPark events are not accessible via the transit system, which stops running around 5:30 or 6 p.m., depending on the route. There is also a tram, which runs to the upper parking lot, the Montana Pavillion, and the arena handicapped parking area.
Is parking available nearby MetraPark Rimrock Auto Arena?
There are plenty of free parking spots in lots around the arena. However, event-goers can now park in the Metra's Premium Lot. You can reserve spaces in the Premium Lot annually for $500. Each spot is named for a band that has performed at the Metra. It's also possible to get space for individual events; however, these spots are on a first-come, first-served basis. Finally, you have the option of looking for spaces on the day of the event. Be sure to bring some cash with you because that's the only form of payment that's accepted for these spots.
What other entertainment options exist in the area?
The MetraPark Rimrock Auto Arena holds more than just concert events. It's home to an indoor football league, the Billings Outlaws. Pre-season NBA games come to the area regularly, and Monster Jam has taken place here, too. Other cool sights in the Billings area include ZooMontana, the Pictograph Cave State Park, Yellowstone Art Museum and Wise Wonders Children's Museum.
Are there food and drink options in the arena?
The Metra has featured concession areas where you can find plenty of food and drink to keep your hunger and thirst at bay. You'll find fare from Fuddruckers, Snowies, Fat Taco, Mountain Mudd, Taste of Asia, Sweetened and Baskin-Robbins. Breakfast Exchange Club and Tiny's Tavern provide beer and spirits.
