2020Census.gov 300 TicketsThe ground was broken on what would become Homestead-Miami Speedway on August 24, 1993. Race promoter Ralph Sanchez helped the construction efforts to try to assist the Homestead community as it tried to rebound from Hurricane Andrew. The groundbreaking ceremony took place exactly one year after Hurricane Andrew made it to land. The first NASCAR-sanctioned event to take place at the track was an Xfinity Series race on November 5, 1995. Dale Jarrett won the first race at the new track on the circuit. The track was always positioned at the end of the Xfinity Series schedule, which meant that it not only served as the season finale but was also the place where the Xfinity Series Championship was clinched. The 2002 season saw Homestead-Miami become the first track in history to crown the NASCAR Truck Series Champion, the Xfinity Series Champion and the Monster Energy Cup Series Champion on the same weekend. Beginning this season, the Homestead-Miami race has been moved to an earlier date in the season. You can get your tickets to see the 2020census.gov 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway at StubHub.
