Freestyle Fall Harvest background
Latin freestyle trio TKA will headline the first Freestyle Fall Harvest. Combining New York house music and Puerto Rican rhythms, this group is known for their high-octane dance songs and catchy melodies. TKA has released three studio albums since they first appeared on the music scene in the late '80s: Scars of Love, Louder Than Love and Forever. They have also scored more than a handful of Billboard Hot 100 chart entries, including "One Way Love," "You Are the One," "I Won't Give Up on You" and "Crash (Have Some Fun)."
Judy Torres will also take to the stage at Freestyle Fall Harvest. The Bronx-born dance-pop singer incorporates Latin freestyle elements into her music and has released two studio albums: 1989's Love Story and 1992's My Soul. Many of Torres' singles have entered the charts, too. "Reasons to Cry" and "Come Into My Arms" were top 20 hits on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs Chart.
George LaMond joins TKA and Torres on the Freestyle Fall Harvest bill. The singer has released a string of albums since his debut in the early '90s, and many of his tracks have entered the Billboard Hot 100: "Bad of the Heart" peaked at No. 25 in 1990, while 1992's "Where Does That Leave Love" reached No. 59. The Cover Girls will also play Freestyle Fall Harvest. The freestyle group's biggest hits include "Show Me," "My Heart Skips a Beat," "Because of You" and "We Can't Go Wrong." Other artists who will appear at the festival include France Joli and Lisette Melendez.
