Gazzelle - Italian indie pop star
Inspired by the Britpop of Oasis, the grunge of Nirvana, and the synth rock of countrymen I Cani, Gazzelle is one of the most popular singer-songwriters to emerge from the Italian indie scene since the turn of the century. You can both buy and sell Gazzelle tickets on StubHub.
Born Flavio Bruno Pardini in the Italian capital city of Rome in 1989, Gazzelle first began performing his own material at the relatively late age of 22 on his hometown's live music circuit. Influenced by artists from both his Italian homeland (I Cani, Thegiornalisti, Cesare Cremonini) and the English-language market (Oasis, Nirvana, Tame Impala), his self-described 'sexy pop' sound was first introduced to a wider audience with 2016 debut single, 'Quella te' and then its parent album, 'Superbattito', which was released via the Maciste Dischi label a year later. Named after the mispronunciation of an Adidas shoe range, the enigmatic Gazzelle went on to release 2017 EP 'Punk' and collaborate with both Lorenzo Fragola on the Italian 'X Factor' winner's third album, 'Bengal', and Luca Carboni on the Teobaldi Rock founder's 13th studio effort, 'Sputnik'. In 2018, he further established his credentials on the Italian indie scene with the acclaimed sophomore 'Punk' and an accompanying tour of the same name. The sound and swagger of Liam Gallagher
Having deliberately hidden his face from the wider Italian public until the release of his debut album, Gazzelle has become renowned as one of the Italian music scene's biggest introverts. He is also famous for addressing melancholic themes in his songs, such as loneliness, lost love, and addiction. However, with his signature pair of shades, shaggy haircut, vintage sportswear, and attitude-laden stance in front of a microphone, the singer-songwriter suddenly evokes the swagger and sound of Oasis frontman whenever he hits the stage. Fans should expect to hear all the highlights from his studio efforts, including the hit singles 'Sopra', 'Tutta la vita', 'Meglio cosi', 'Scintille', 'Nero', and 'Sayonara', all of which have racked up more than two million views on YouTube. Don't miss out on the opportunity to see the Italian indie pop star in action and take a look at the various Gazzelle tickets now available on StubHub. You can also buy tickets for several other Italian indie favourites, including Baustelle, Marlene Kuntz, and Afterhours.
